The City of Charlotte's Youth Programs provides 16-24-year old residents with the opportunity to participate in career readiness training free of charge. This virtual experience covers job readiness, interview preparation and essential skills. This year we have collaborated with Central Piedmont Community College to offer youth a chance to receive 1 free college credit by participating in the Job & Career Readiness Training. This training is the first required step an interested student must take in order to pursue Mayor's Youth Employment Program (MYEP) eligibility. You must register to participate! To attend Job & Career Readiness Training, students must:
Be 16 on or before April 15, 2022
Be enrolled as a current student in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools or reside in the City of Charlotte
Be available on the date that is specified for your school
